A new era for teaching

SEPI is a completely open architecture platform facilitating the online teaching of the curriculum of year 11 and 12 subjects for every State.

Hand opening a door

Open to all

Whether located in Australia or overseas, all students and all accredited teachers can use SEPI. SEPI is open to all schools. SEPI is not a school or attached to any school. It does not replace the "school experience" since nearly all students who use SEPI will do so for only one or two subjects.

Hands connecting puzzle pieces

Making connections

The users of teacher services (almost always schools but in some cases could be other institutions, parents and/or students) search SEPI for the most appropriate teacher. SEPI matches the student's specific needs with the teacher that best suits those needs.

Modern architectural structure

Complete flexibility

A teacher can teach students from many different schools (and/or other users) in the one online lesson. The teacher could be exclusively on SEPI (full or part time) or still work at a school and also teach on SEPI part time.

How it Works?

The network of available relief teachers will grow exponentially. Location is no longer a barrier; find the right talent, anywhere.

Any Teacher Can Initiate a Team.

Teams are ways for teachers to connect together. Teacher Teams can help in many ways. For instance teams can share best practices, information, LET and help with timetable management. Users can search Teams by attributes in the same way they can search for individual teachers.

There are no restrictions on the nature of the Team. There are three types of team structures: Loose Affiliation, Formal Affiliation and Franchise.
